Description

DIFB stands for Detector Interface Board. It is mainly used to receive analog electrical signals (converted from X-ray photons) from the CT detector array, convert them into digital signals through high-speed analog-to-digital converters, and transmit them to the back-end image reconstruction unit. It is responsible for coordinating the synchronization of the detector, X-ray tube and rotating rack to ensure that the timing of data collection is accurate when the rack rotates at high speed. It is a key electronic hardware component in GE medical CT equipment and is used to replace and repair HD series detector systems.

Features:

- The DIFB board is typically located at the rear of the detector and provides multiple physical interfaces for connecting to the front-end detector module array. It integrates and preprocesses the weak light or electrical signals captured by the detector.

- To support high-definition imaging, it must possess extremely high data transmission bandwidth to process massive amounts of scan data and ensure rapid image reconstruction after scanning.
